Investiture of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star to Mr. Al Jeraisy
The Japanese embassy in the kingdom organized a Presentation Ceremony to bestow upon Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Jeraisy the Japanese "Order of the Rising Sun- Gold and Silver star" for the spring of 2008.
During the ceremony, Mr. Shigeru Nakamuar, Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom, delivered a speech in which he emphasized on the strength of Saudi-Japanese relations, adding that Mr.Abdul Rahman Al Jeraisy was bestowed upon the Order as a recognition of his continuous contributions to development of bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Japan and the constructive cooperation between the two friendly nations particularly in the areas of economic ties and investment relations so as to enhance the common interests of both countries.

Mr. Al Jeraisy has been granted the Order and the document of honor which stated in the text that" His Majesty the Emperor of Japan bestowed upon Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Jeraisy the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver stars"
From his side, Al Jeraisy expressed his happiness and pride that he has been granted this award. “It is an honor that recalls glory for one of the kingdom's sons to promote and develop the cooperation, friendship and understanding between the Kingdom and such an economic giant like Japan, the achievement that has been made by the grace of Allah and then the support and help of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and His Highness Crown Prince, who valued the high importance of the constructive cooperation with the friendly people and Government of Japan, as a technical major economic powers in the world” Al Jeraisy said.
Al Jeraisy, who heads the Saudi-Japanese Business Council, added that relations of friendship and cooperation with Japan has made steady and significant progress in the economic, commercial, investment, and technology fields, as the countries of the largest trading partners and investment, as the two countries are considered one of the biggest commercial and investing partners in the region. He was also pleased with the rapid development and growth in the fields of economic cooperation in multiple forms in the best interests of the two countries, adding that such cooperation is a model between two great economic Powers in the world.
Mr. Al Jeraisy has been previously honored by many countries and bodies concerned with the development of relations between those countries and Saudi Arabia. "China-Arab Friendship Association" has granted him the title of "Ambassador of Civil Friendship" in an appreciation of his efforts in the development and the progress of the economic, commercial and investment relations between the Kingdom and China, and his belief that closer economic relations is one of the most important bridges of understanding and cooperation, and promote friendship and rapprochement between people and nations.
Another Presentation Ceremony was held in Beijin om 24th Jumada Awal 1429H, corresponding to 29/05/2008G to grant Mr. Al Jeraisy that title, attended by a gathering of business men and Chinese/Saudi economic activities, in addition to a number of Chinese responsible and representatives of Saudi Embassy in the Chinese capital. Before that, Mr. Al Jeraisy was bestowed upon the Order and Medal of "Ibn Sina" from the Federal Republic of Russia, and he was also chosen unanimously to be a member of the Russian Academy of Social Sciences in a big Presentation Ceremony on April 2007, to be the first person from the Arab, Middle East, and Latin American countries to have such an Order.
The chairman of the board of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts of the wise leadership represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, and His Highness Faithful Crown Prince - God preserve them - for maintaining closer economic ties and friendly relations with the major economic powers in the world to promote the interests of the Kingdom and its people, whether through the generous visits of the Leadership to these countries and holding talks with their leaders directly, or through good guidance to the concerned parties to promote the development of these relations.
